Mohawk Falls - Colebrook NH

My Weekend began with a 3 and a half hour drive from Epping to Colebrook NH. It was definitely a long drive, but not as long as this couples drive. Being from Connecticut Sarah wanted to have a Wedding during peak Fall Foliage in the Mountains of New Hampshire. With Mohawk Falls that is what she got. Nestled in the woods, on the most gorgeous property Dana and Cynthia have quite the venue. A family of dentists, turned their cute little home on a waterfall into the most beautify wedding venue. I asked Dana how he even began to dream up such a fantastic idea being a dentist. His response was perfect. “ Growing up I told my dad I was going to live on a waterfall, he laughed and said ok. Years later that is exactly what I did. We had so much property we thought why not share it with other people.”

The rest as they say is history.

Sarah knew exactly what she wanted her wedding to be. From the flowers, right down to the cute little wooden hearts that said “love” for the tables. She was the best kind of DIY bride. She made all her bouquets, centerpieces and even canned homemade Salsa and Pickles as favors. How cute is that!!

Sarah and Josh’s love is one for the story books. They both love Jeeps, fishing and genuinely any outdoor activity. The way that Josh looks at Sarah is something that will literally melt your heart. Even when she isn’t looking, he is looking at her like “ Wow, that woman is my wife and I have her for the rest of my life” I may or may not have shed a tear or two during their Ceremony and first dance! ( But shh.. don’t tell anyone.)

The Event was Catered by Celebrations Catering. They probably have the best catering staff I have ever worked with. They were incredible. The servers and the kitchen staff worked together so smoothly and professionally, they are a group of people I would work together with again in a heart beat. The Mac and Cheese and Pulled pork that was served on the buffet was AMAZING!!! I want some more right now actually. Working with them was so easy, and stress free that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I trusted them entirely.
